What Are the Allegations Against Dr. Bradford Bomba, Sr.?
According to the class action lawsuit filed by two former players, Dr. Bomba, Sr. engaged in various activities that were medically unnecessary and invasive. Specifically, the former players allege the doctor performed abusive rectal examinations with his fingers.

What Are the Allegations Against Indiana University?
The class action lawsuit alleges that university officials, including men’s basketball coaches and assistant coaches, knew about Dr. Bomba, Sr.’s “routine, pervasive, [and] repeated sexual assaults.” Despite this, IU maintained a policy of “deliberate indifference” to multiple players’ complaints, according to the lawsuit.
Although Dr. Bomba, Sr. may be the party who engaged in the sexual abuse, the university—along with any of its employees who knew about the abuse, failed to report it, and/or failed to stop it—could be liable for their actions or inaction.
