Cranbrook Schools Investigation Approaching 1 Year

In April 2022, administrators at Cranbrook Schools in Michigan disclosed an investigation into sexual abuse that had been reported at the institution. An email announcing the investigation referred to a faculty member who had been at the school from 1946 to 1961. News reports at the time indicated that other survivors were coming forward.

In May 2022, approximately 1 month after the private prep academy announced its investigation, actress Selma Blair disclosed that she had been allegedly inappropriately touched in the 1980s, well after the allegations being investigated by the school were said to have occurred.

Now, ten months later, there appears to be no public disclosure about the status or findings of any investigation.
